Norrine, at Walnut Wallpaper, recently put up ferm LIVING's Leaf wallpaper in her home. We were so excited that she chose it and couldn't wait to see how it turned out. She's having it professionally photographed, so we'll be sure to post those pictures, but in the meantime, here's a little sneak peek. I really love the colors of this design. Very soothing, I think. Thank you for the picture, Leslie!
We were so excited to see WallCollection in Daily Candy, San Francisco, today. Our new custom service offers people a way to create their own unique wall images, or they can chose designs from a gallery of international artists. Thank you so very much for featuring us, Andrea!
One of my favorite artists, Julia Rothman, has some beautiful offerings at WallCollection. This is her Pebblecones design. Too sweet!
The sun was shining so perfectly this morning that I couldn't help but take a little walk around my neighborhood and grab some coffee. Just thought I'd share some more very sweet things from my stroll.

This little girl is named Finley. Nothing could be cuter. I'm quite sure of that! Finley belongs to John, the owner of AREA, one of my favorite home stores in San Francisco. I make excuses to stop by and see Finley all the time. Today's was pretty lame. Something about checking whether this cool desk clock had come in (since, it hadn't yesterday when I checked in, or the day before that, or the day before that...).
Next stop two doors down - Eden & Eden, which has got to be the sweetest shop in the city. I picked up these gorgeous floor pillows. Mustard colored velvet with a screened antique wallpaper print in plum. Ahhhhh....yum.

I picked up some dessert from Stella Pastry for later. This sacripantina is the most light and fluffy dessert imaginable. It's like eating a sugary cloud of joy. I can't wait to dive in.
Okay, I've procrastinated enough. Back to work. Have a great weekend!
We just received a fun email from Stephanie who recently purchased a Love Birds Wall Sticker. She wrote, "Here is how I used my new wall sticker 'Lovebirds', up high on my loft between my cast iron crows (on ledge) and my little birdy cuckoo clock. I trimmed the branches a little so it would look like it was coming out of the wall.
Love it!" We LOVE it too! And, I'm loving that clock against the lime green. What a fabulous loft space - so modern and fun! Thanks, Stephanie!
2. Turn old into new. Stephanie just put her Berry Black wall sticker (and ferm birdie sample - so cute!) on a freshly painted off white chest of drawers. She told us that this used to be a beat up, old pine piece covered in stickers. She just painted it white and added the wall sticker, and said "what a total awesome transformation and so easy to do…….. yea.. !!" I adore this chest of drawers and am totally inspired and now resolve to revamp a old set us shelves I have this way instead of just replacing them like I normally would. Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous craftiness with us, Stephanie! Happy New Year!
1. Add personality to your living space.
Jeanne, in Menlo Park, CA, just sent us this picture of her gorgeous living room. Wallpapering this room was her first post-Christmas project, and she did it fabulously. The white and gold Wilderness pattern looks beautiful with the dark floor lamps and delicate throw pillows. I've resolved to wallpaper my dining room in the Wilderness pattern as well. That's one resolution I'll be sure to keep. Thank you, Jeanne, for sharing your ferm living room with us! Happy New Year!
Jill, an architect in Seattle and our very first customer (!), just sent us this picture of her pretty pink Christmas tree in her boldly Kingflowered living room. We LOVE everything about it. Plus, I really want that couch. Thank you so much, Jill! And Happy New Year!
