So Ferm!

My dear friends Sarah and Bob have impeccable taste - which might help explain why it took them about 2 years to decide upon the perfect wallpaper for their kitchen pantry. They put it up over the weekend, and I think it looks fabulous! Unlike me, Sarah's pantry is stocked full of delicious foods. Bob also keeps his liquor in there. Even though he's on a old fashioned cocktail kick, it is a rare occasion I can't convince him to pour me one of his famous G&T's. What I'm trying to say is this pantry gets used all the time. I'm so happy that they'll have a lovely pop of pattern each time they open the door. Nice work, guys!

Team Edward

It had to be done. Aimee and I spent a long lunch "team building" at New Moon today. Much better than a ropes course. Happy Weekend!

Fashionista

Ran into this lovely nook styled by Sally Conran today on Desire to Inspire. Our fashion wall sticker adds just the right touch of girly glam.

Okay, I don't know the actual winner, but in my world it'll be Rosie's room! They are having a color contest over at Apartment Therapy, and this room entry is definitely my favorite!


I LOVE the turquoise accents with our Dottie wallpaper. There are so many lovely, personal details. What a lucky girl!

Doing the Splits

I ran into these lovely images of our wilderness in gold on Spagat Blog. In Danish, spagat means doing the splits. I love that, not sure why. Maybe because I'm determined to do the splits again. I also love Sidsel's blog, for reasons I am sure of. It contains and amazing collection of Scandinavian interior design! She also makes the adorable owls as seen above.


Oooh, look, there are our dinner mats too. This blogger is too good!

3+ Wallpaper Wednesday

Aimee picked this chandelier from Made Goods for today's three plus challenge. I kept everything neutral with a classic table and some cream, textured ceramics to make our feather wallpaper really pop!

Fish Love

Just ran across this ADORABLE room on Purple Area which I spent Sunday night reading from start to end - what an amazing design blog! Actually, when I say reading, I just meaning looking at pictures and drooling, as it is written mostly in Swedish (I think). Luckily all the beautiful pictures she finds speak for themselves. I thought this application of our Water World wallstickers in a nursery was so chic!

Hunger Pains

Courtney's kitchen I found here is SO GORGEOUS it making me hungry! She used ferm LIVING's fir tree design in black, and it is looking delicious!

Coffee Time

I spent Halloween weekend with my friends in Davis, who also happen to have exquisite taste in coffee cups! I hadn't actually seen the thermo mugs before, so was just delighted with them. They are double layered (therm) to keep coffee extra warm, and perfect size to fit in my hand. I have my eye on this one!


And, what better to complement a cozy coffee much than a pretty tea towel? The unique color combo of these makes them extra eye catching.

Aimee picked this Parisian inspired table from Wisteria this week to wallpaper around. To offset the vintage I went with a super modern chair. Added a bit of nature with the fir tree wallpaper. And this lovely frame idea from The Selby via Remodelista. Voila!

Just saw this cool picture on Flickr and thought I'd post. Love the orange wall hanging and how it works so well with the walldots in bronze!

3+ Wallpaper Wednesday (Thursday)

We're wallpapering around this leather butterfly chair from Urban Outfitters today. I'm pretty obsessed with it at the moment. I thought it would look great with the fir tree design. To keep it modern, I added in a bright yellow side table. The finishing touch - my favorite tea set!

Autumn in Paris!

I know Paris is known for springtime gloriousness, but I suspect autumn in Paris might be even better? Maybe that is because I love autumn in New York, and I equate the two as being equally fabulous cities? I dream about Paris all the time, so was delighted to get the new rolls of ferm living collection only to find the map design is a sketch of Paris streets! Aimee and I are both brainstorming ways to incorporate this new wallpaper into our homes! You can never be reminded of strolling the streets of Paris too often, I think.

On an extremely related note, I just went to see Paris last night. I highly recommend. It was all for living in the moment! And, it even made Paris in winter very appealing!

Feeling Sleepy

I'm a bit sleepy this morning. Woke up early with the phone ringing, thought is was Wednesday for about half and hour, can't find any coffee in my place... So, I guess it's fitting to blog about one of my favorite sleep aids - pillows. We were really excited to be included in Apartment Therapy's line up for best throw pillow sources 2009! Thanks, AT!
