I LOVE this dip dyed tea towel posted on Remodelista a few months ago. I'm going to be needed in a shower curtain again soon, so thought it'd be a good opportunity to bring in the dip dye look.
Was going to do try it out on this canvas shower curtain one sale at CB2. What do you think? The problem is it isn't on sale enough that I wouldn't be sad if I mess it up. Does anyone have any dip dying tips?

What dye are you thinking of using?
I have found that just about all of them bleed color no matter how I fix them, though that may not be a problem for a shower curtain. Why not experiment with tea towels for starters? Ikea sometimes have white pure linen tea towels, not the very best quality but they still have a certain presence.
Maybe just Rit? I need to do a little more research, I guess. That's a great idea to experiment with tea towels first, thanks! Will keep you posted :)
