Were you raised in a barn?

Our downstairs bathroom is undoubtedly one of the most used parts of our house. Between kids running in for "pit stops," my husband's odd but considerate habit of going to the bathroom downstairs early in the morning so the noise of the flush doesn't wake the kids, and all the mom-mandated hand washing before meals, it seems as though it's always occupied. And one thing NONE of my boys can remember is to close the door when they leave. So I figured if the door was going to be left open, why fight it? Now, instead of feeling annoyed when I see the door left open AGAIN, I catch a glimpse of some Ribbed wallpaper and the annoyance melts away.

Christiana and I did the wallpaper in this room in seemingly record time - and luckily the walls were already a lovely grey-blue-green shade.

All that's left now is finding the perfect little knob for the medicine cabinet.

Here are a few I've seen at Anthropologie, but I haven't found one that's just right yet. Suggestions welcome!

We have a great flocked votive holder (and candles) that would go with this theme possibly, they are value-priced at $2.50 each. Take a look http://www.colonialcandle.com/store/item.aspx?ItemId=12666

Thanks, Katie! Those are adorable and would look great on the back of the toilet or on the sink...

I think I must have been born in a barn, because I never close bathroom doors. Are you really supposed to? Dammit! Another thing my mom never taught me.
