A Clever Touch!
We're big fans of Vanessa De Vargas, so were really excited to see her newly made-over living room on one of our favorite blogs, More Ways to Waste Time. I met Vanessa last year when she hosted a ferm LIVING event at her studio in Venice. We bonded over our love of New Mexico, cocktails, vintage lighting... and wallpaper (of course)! And now, Vanessa's included just a touch of ferm living's little leaves design to accent two walls in her living room. So pretty! I love how just a little bit of wallpaper can tie a room together. And, I want that chandelier.

Feliz Navidad!
Aimee and I just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas! Aimee's hosting her family in Minnesota, and I'm hanging out with mine in New Mexico. My brother and sister-in-law brought their dog, Luna, down from Colorado this year, so I'll pretty be much spending my holiday playing with her (and eating as much green chile as possible).
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Blissology
I was debating whether to bail on my yoga class today - it's rainy outside, and let's face it, I could be less hungover :) Luckily, I came across this lovely picture in my inbox from Insiya Rasiwala-Finn, a yoga instructor and "bliss promoter." They used our Leaf wallpaper to bring in a little more nature to their yoga retreat. I started reading their blog and feel inspired to get off the couch and get my yoga on!

A Second Story Oasis
Anna Dorfman at Door16 just redid her upstairs bathroom to create one of the most calm, clean and beautiful bathrooms I've ever seen. That she added a little ferm living Bindweed wallpaper might make me biased, but I don't know... I think the gorgeousness of her new bathroom can't be disputed.
Anna is a book cover designer living with her husband Evan and dogs, Bruno and Fritz, in an 1890’s Victorian rowhouse in the City of Newburgh, NY. Since buying their house in March 2006 they've been swimming in repairs and renovations and dirt and plaster and paint and bricks. If this bathroom is any indication, their efforts are well worth it!
The before.
The even more before.
The key ingredient :)
The heavenly after...
I LOVE the flooring. And nothing beats a claw foot tub. Ahhh...
Wow, Anna! Thank you so much for all the inspiration. We hope you're enjoying your new bathroom!

Kissing Squirrels
I was just over at my friend Kristen's house who was oozing holiday cheer (in a good way). We multitasked by decorating her tree while catching up on gossip ranging from celebrities, weddings, family, and yes, okay, a mutual friend or two. It left me wondering... is there anything more festive than trimming a tree, while drinking champagne, eating cheese, and listening to pandora's selection of Christmas tunes?
Yes, if you're trimming a tree with ferm LIVING's kissing squirrels :)

Working from Home
Sarah just sent us these gorgeous pictures of her newly wallpapered home office. She works from home, so wanted to turn her space into a calm and inspiring place to take care of business. I'd say she did just that! Her husband, Matt, helped he with the wallpapering. Excellent work!
Matt's actually in for another wallpaper project. Sarah and Matt recently found out that she was pregnant (congratulations!), and we're all in agreement that the nursery is going to need some wallpaper! Thanks so much for sharing, Sarah and Matt!

Give them the world
This holiday season we've decided on a very special offer. For a limited time, buy one World Map sticker and get one free! This sticker is the perfect gift for: 1) your friend who loves to travel - she can put it up in her office, mark all the amazing places she's been and plot her next trip; 2) kids! - put it up in a bedroom or play room for a stylish and educational accent; 3) that special someone - make good on your promise to give them the world. Plus, as shown, this sticker can easily be turned into modern holiday decor - just add vinyl or wood letters. Flashing lights and reindeer not included - or recommended.
We're also offering our ornaments at half price. In a variety of shapes and colors, these are sure to add a sophisticated pop to any tree - even Christiana's adorably scraggly little Charlie Brown tree, pictured here.
Our tea towels make the perfect hostess gift - either give as is, or do what my mom has done for years and wrap a loaf of lemon poppy seed bread up with one of the towels. It's always much appreciated by the recipient.
Purchase the ornaments and/or the World Map sticker between 12/1 and 12/20 and enter HOLIDAY08 in the Notes section at checkout. Your discount will be processed as a refund within 24 hours of your order.
Christiana and I wish you and yours a very happy holiday season. We appreciate your business and we look forward to continuing to work with you in 2009!
